One of them happens to be Mumbai’s most talented cyclist Madura Waykar. At the age of 19, this Rockstar has already represented India at the Junior Asian Track Cycling Championship.

Col. Dr Srinivas Gokulnath becomes the first Indian to finish Race Around Austria extreme i.e. 2200 km in 5 Days, 10 Hrs and 9 Mins in the solo category. This news has surely given a boost to our Indian Cycling Community too.
The race covers 2,200 km and has more than 30,000 m (98,400 ft.) of climbing.
Meet Amit Samarth -The First Ever Asian To Complete Trans-Siberian Extreme Race:
Dr Amit Samarth, an endurance cycling athlete has become the first-ever Indian to complete the Red Bull Trans-Siberian Extreme race, a 9100-km race in Russia. Dr Amit Samarth who hails from Nagpur, Maharashtra finished the bicycle race on Friday with these two words, “It’s done.”
Dr Amit reportedly took about 315 hours, 45 minutes and 26 seconds to complete the race. He finished fourth overall — only 6 minutes behind the race winner Pierre Bischoff from Germany.
